There is another program or hardware on the computer that is conflicting with the PED-Basic software. It is not a message within the PED-Basic software. If you are still experiencing problems, the message MFC Application has stopped working is a Windows error message. Your program should now be installed and working. The found new hardware message should appear in the bottom right side stating it has been installed. Close all windows and plug in the USB reader/writer box into the USB port.
